About me
Johanna started her career as a science teacher in rural Eastern North Carolina through Teach for America. A graduate of the North East Leadership Academy (NELA) at NC State, she served as a school administrator launching dual language immersion and teacher coaching programs. Dr. Parker also holds her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from East Carolina University. Her research focuses on adult learning and school/district effective collaboration. She currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools in Cabarrus County.
